Body Modifications for J. Carlos Fox

JCFoxx@aol.com
I own a 1992 Convertible with a 6 speed. Started life canary yellow, it is now triple BLACK. It had been in an accident, and needed repainting and repair. I changed the following:
  1. Replaced Front & Rear bumbers with fiberglass replacements. No more ripples. On Front Bumber, I had the CORVETTE logo filled in, now the entire front bumber is smooth. On the Rear Bumber, I had the CORVETTE logo filled in, as well as the middle stop light (the bulb was left in place to avoid a warning light on the dash). Now the rear end was smooth.
  2. Replaced the side vents with 1995 style vents.
  3. Removed hood emblem. (Hood looks bigger, takes some getting used to)
  4. Removed fuel filler emblem, and had the door made one solid piece and smooth. A small thumb slot was left to open door.
  5. Installed 315/35/17 tires on the original wheels.
  6. Replaced the top with a cloth top (black).
  7. Replaced the original leather with a better leather - black
  8. Had the whole car painted jet black.
Total cost: 3 times what I expected, but it looks and feels brand new.
